US Election 2020: Fantasy Democracy in Action

Democracy in America is pure fantasy, never the real thing by design. Dark forces run things. What they want, they get — including governance of, by, and for privileged interests at the expense of exploited ordinary people at home and abroad. America’s second president John Adams explained how the nation is run — for and by “the rich, well born and able” exclusively. The first US Supreme Court chief justice John Jay said the nation should be run by people who own it, how it’s always been from inception.

Post-9/11 — the mother of all state-sponsored false flags — the US has been heading toward full-blown police state rule. Both right wings of its one-party state are onboard for tyrannical rule. Most Americans aren’t aware of how their fundamental freedoms are being eliminated by legislation, presidential executive orders, and judicial decisions that affirm what demands rejection.

Election fraud occurred many times in the US from the early days of the republic — at the federal, state and local levels. In 2020, it’s been notably brazen in states able to swing the election either way for Trump or Biden/Harris. Some political unrest is ongoing in parts of the country, but no mass uprising for vitally needed post-election change.

US November 3 presidential election was rigged in key swing states Trump won in 2016.  This year they’re going for Biden/Harris by election fraud, including hundreds of thousands of votes showing up last Wednesday pre-dawn in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania — 100% for the challengers, zero for Trump, a statistical impossibility if the process was fair. If unrest erupts beyond what’s minor and easily controlled by local authorities, state National Guard and/or Pentagon forces will be deployed to put it down.

Since Trump betrayed the public trust by breaking every positive promise made while campaigning in 2016 and in his inaugural address, I’ve strongly criticized his domestic and foreign policy. Yet his team has good reason to challenge election results, the winner uncertain until litigation plays out. As in 2000, nine Supreme Court justices may have final say on who wins and loses in the contest for the nation’s highest office.

In swing states Trump won in 2016, his team contends that thousands of votes were cast by non-residents — former ones who moved out-of-state — and deceased individuals. Thousands of others for Trump were discarded, they added. Any voting-age American who moved to another state over 30 days pre-election is ineligible to vote in the state where they formerly claimed residence. In Pennsylvania, Michigan, and elsewhere, GOP election monitors were prevented from observing tallies to assure ballots were valid and being properly counted. In Pennsylvania, a GOP lawsuit “accused (Dem) election leaders of violating state code by authorizing local election officials to give information about rejected mail-in ballots to (Dem) operatives so they could contact those voters and offer them a new ballot.”

This violates both state law and an earlier Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court ruling that states the following: “(M)ail-in or absentee voters are not provided any opportunity to cure perceived defects (to their ballot) in a timely manner.” Results in six battleground states are close enough to go either way, likely for Trump if open, free, and fair ballot counting was conducted — notably Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Georgia, Arizona. In 2016, Trump only lost Nevada, winning the other states. Pending a Georgia recount likely to go against him, he’s on track to lose them all to Biden/Harris the old-fashioned way — by election fraud.

On Wednesday, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) defied reality, calling presidential election 2020 “the most secure in American history (sic).”  Ignored was modern-day ballot box stuffing of electronic and mail-in ballots.

Trump’s DHS abandoned him as well as truth-telling about Election 2020. Almost daily, new information surfaces about election fraud in key swing states. Based on what’s already known, it appears that brazen fraud decided the US presidential election. While it’s not over until Electoral College electors vote (on Dec. 14), it’s certified by House, Senate, and National Archives representatives (on Dec. 23), and Congress declares the results (on Jan. 6 — the Supreme Court perhaps to have final say — it appears almost certain that Biden/Harris will succeed Trump on January 20.

Election 2020 is clear testimony to how fantasy US democracy works — ordinary Americans with no say over how the nation is run and by whom. It’s also more evidence of dominant media mass deception, supporting election fraud over a free, fair and open process.

Trump isn’t going quietly into that good night. He’s ending his tenure with a bang, not a whimper. His envoy for regime change in Iran and Venezuela, convicted felon Elliott Abrams, said he intends imposing new sanctions on Iran weekly through US inauguration day, January 20. Part of the scheme is to prevent Biden/Harris, if they succeed Trump, from returning to the JCPOA by creating obstacles through sanctions they’d be unlikely to reverse.

As much as I disapprove of and reject virtually everything Trump has done in office, I fear Biden/Harris more because Dems have a long history of being more belligerent than Republicans. Whoever serves as US president and in key congressional offices, Iran — and other nations free from Washington’s control — will have no friends serving in high US posts. All nations the US doesn’t control are targeted for regime change, no exceptions. Favored US policies against these nations include war by hot and/or other means. The latter strategy includes illegal sanctions, sabotage, and other dirty tricks.

The only good news I know is that US imperial lawlessness is weakening over time. Like all earlier empires, history’s dustbin awaits America’s arrival — while China, Russia, Iran and other nations are rising.
